The dipping sauce has a base of yogurt, simple (and recognizable) taste so and therefore easy to combine with different dippers n, with a little luck, all party guests like this delicious sauce. Here, at least, it is always a success! Both at a party, and for a snack and snack for school.
What do you need?
- 250 grams of semi-skimmed yogurt
- Lemon juice
- Chives
- Pepper
- Salt
Use half a lemon and squeeze the lemon juice into the yogurt. Cut the chives into small, and even smaller, pieces. Stir in the yogurt nicely. Add the pepper and salt to taste
Are you a fan of less acid, or more? Then use the lemon juice deliciously as you see fit. Tasting in between is, of course, allowed. Or no, it’s not allowed; in fact, it’s just mandatory. As with the pepper and salt, for that matter. Put your own spin on it!
And psst, want the sauce a little thicker? Then use cottage cheese instead of yogurt.
Yes, then it’s time for the dippers! For the dipping sauce, you can use basically anything that dips nicely. In the spirit of fresh and delicious, this time I chose carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and stalks of celery for myself.
Ready-to-eat grated carrots cut in half, the cucumber ditto (flesh may remain, can also be cut off a bit), the celery in long strips (just take the threads off, otherwise it eats so annoying) and a skewer for the cherry tomatoes. Other excellent options include strips of bell bell pepper, bimis, radishes and, last but not least, plain sliced baguettes!
Have fun dancing at the children’s disco and don’t forget….
Dipse!
